House in two blocks attached on right to Oriel Lodge (qv). Left hand block late C18, right hand block early/mid C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar with slate roofs and stacks to left return and right party wall.
PLAN: Double depth plan.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys to left, three storeys to right, three-window range. Left hand block lower with coped parapet and cornice, hipped roof over full height bay, canted at corners, and eight/eight-pane sash window with louvered shutters to first floor. Right hand three storey block has two/two-pane sash windows, one to second floor has sun-blind box, two to first floor have hinged louvered shutters. Ground floor built out as single storey extension with half-glazed door to left, plate glass sash to centre and tripartite two/two-pane sash to right.
