GV II

Detached Italianate house. c1845 with late C19 alterations and C20 additions.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, shallow pitched hipped slate roof with moulded stacks.
PLAN: L-plan with projections.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys. North-east entrance front has prostyle porch with fluted Doric columns supporting entablature and blocking course. Stepped platband encircles building. Right return (west) has shallow gable projection with paired semicircular arched windows, moulded archivolts and keystones to first floor.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached to projection and fronting Mount Road stone balustraded wall with panelled piers flanking double gates and to left corner of site.
