Tomb of Charles Hamper (d.1866)
Gothic Revival canopy tomb. Pennant stone. Steeply pitched canopy with trefoil roll-moulding to ridges and Iona cross to top. Fish-scale roof. Blind arcading to ends. Chamfered plinth.
HISTORY: Hamper was late of The Grove, Bathampton. A characteristically richly detailed High Gothic monument. Located at the half-border of section V.
