Description

Robert Thomson, architect. Circa 1880-90. In the manner of
Alexander Thomson. Single storey, asymmetrical Eypto-Greek
villa. Painted masonry. Door in recessed bay to left with 3
similarly proportioned windows to left set behind pilastrade.
Advanced gabled bay to right has 3 lights with Graeco-
Egyptian detailed outer pilasters and inner engaged columns.
Circular ventilator in gable. Projecting eaves. Stack to
right with single original chimney pot. Slate roof.
Interior: altered, and chimney pieces removed but wooden
panelled ceiling in front room to east.
