Description

1808. Simple plain Georgian gabled rectangle. Roughly coursed

rubble with droved dressings. Four round-arched windows on

south flank. Plain door in east gable. 2 plain doors in west

gable (all square headed and birdcage belfry over composed of

2 tiers of balusters. Three windows and slated catslide

vestry to north. Slated roof. Straight skews and tall square

stack at south west angle. Central ventilator at roof ridge. Semi-octagonal-plan timber gallery on 4 timber columns with

deep necking round west, north and east sides of church,

original panelled gallery fronts, otherwise largely

refurnished Gillespie of St Andrew's 1898 and 1902. Plain

ceiling with central fan motif.
