Description

Large with pinnacled tower, ashlar faced perpendicular.
Interior of great interest with 4-centre arched and ribbed
ceiling, shallow sanctuary with plaster groin vault: Keir
loft at tower end of church, fine tripartite composition with
groin vaults in plaster and Stirling memorials; now has
stairs down to body of church (originally only Stirlings
entered by tower, parishioners by the lateral porches);
original pulpit, otherwise refurnished. Stirling vault below
entered by archway in basement of sanctuary. William
Stirling, archt., 1826. Good gatepiers on axis of church.
