Description

Thomas Telford, 1830. Single storey, symmetrical S facing
5-bay U-plan dwelling. White harled, self-coloured painted
tooled ashlar margins; renewed base course. Centre door;
4-pane glazing to sash windows; pair coped tooled granite
ridge stacks; piended local slate roofs with slightly
projecting eaves.
Later lean-to extension at NE.

Statement of Interest

One of two Parliamentary manses built without accompanying

Telford churches (existing churches repaired). Other manse

at Insh (presently Insh House), 1828.
