Description

Circa 1805 remodelled and enlarged to designs by Elizabeth
and Jane Grant, 1812. Single storey rectangular white harled
cottage with 2 bay W gable under deep verandah formed by
projecting piended roof supported by 3 painted brick
pilasters. Entrance door in right of W gable with flanking
2-light window with original lattice pane glazing. 2-bay
long S elevation; centre ridge stack; piended slate roof.
Modern roof extension to rear.

Statement of Interest

Cottage heather thatched originally; present brick

pilasters probably replaced rustic timber columns.
