Description

Probably later 16th century, small L-plan rubble castle;
entrance in shallow NW re-entrant angle; corbelled base of
re-entrant angle stair turrets survives with simple
incised decoration to bottom of 5 corbels.
Roofless and ruinous.

Statement of Interest

Jacobite fugitives found refuse at Lethendry after Battle

of the Haughs of Cromdale, 1690. Listing confined to castle

only and does not include abutting steading.
