Thomas Telford, 1825-27. Single storey H-plan Parliamentary manse, harled with contrasting painted margins. Centre doorway now window, new entrance slapped in south gable (replacing window); 12-pane glazing; twin ridge stacks; slate roof. Simple later cast-iron railings on low retaining wall to west frontage; high coped rubble garden wall elsewhere.
Shieldaig was first "quod sacra" parish to be established for Parliamentary Church, in 1833 (ie, separated from Applecross parish Parliamentary church of 1825-27 replaced by later building.
