Description

Probably Alexander Stevens, circa 1775. Single-storey
tollhouse, simple gabled rectangle, 3-bay front elevation.
Rough ashlar with raised margins, square eaves cornice, now
all yellow-washed. Centre door with horizontally boarded
porch with piended roof; 12-pane glazing pattern to 2
sash windows (modern replacements with horns); slated
roof, straight skews, end stacks with block corniced
copes. Modern porch to rear.
