Description

Late 18th century. Segmental-arched, single span bridge over River South Esk. Tooled, coursed pink sandstone with polished, chamfered arch-ring and polished coping; splayed wing walls.

Statement of Interest

B Group with Dalhousie Castle, Folly on W Bank of River South Esk, Folly on E Bank of River South Esk, West Lodge and Grove Farm (former Dalhousie Walled Garden). The bridge provides picturesque access to the now disused Castle Quarry.
