Description

Greater portion of existing mansion built by the first
Hamilton of Sundrum in 1792; incorporated is a much earlier
tower - Main range 3 storeys; 4 widely spaced sash windows,
those on the 1st floor lighting the principal rooms; harled
walls, stone battlemented parapet; dentilled course;
ridge slate roof, round corner turrets, end stacks -
Interior contains some good late 18th century classical
decoration - Adjoining office wing at side has 3 gables
connected by low screen wall; centre gable palladian
window, clock in attic gable, cupola and weathervane
