Description

Probably Robert Turnbull, 1875-6. Individually detailed
symmetrical terraced row of 11 similar 2-storey 2-bay
houses. Coursed stugged ashlar with polished dressings,
horizontal bands and chamfered reveals. Each house entrance
bay has recessed 2-leaf panelled door with sidelights and
bracketted canopy, single 1st floor window above; full-
height canted window in 2nd bay, with fluted frieze between
floors. Plate glass sashes; bracketted eaves; end stacks,
mostly with original decorative flues; continuous slate roof.
