Description

Mid to late 18th century much altered in 19th century.
Single storey row of 2 cottages, almost symmetrical.
Rubble with droved ashlar dressings.
W ELEVATION: 8-bay. originally 2 3-bay gabled cottages
each with door at centre of 3 bays. Piend-roofed end
bays added marginally later, slightly recessed at W front.
Single windows, but altered to bipartites left of doors.
N AND S ELEVATIONS: 2-bay. Small window lights to W
blocked, larger windows to right.
Lying-pane glazing to sash and case windows,
with small-pane in bipartites. Raised skews to former
gable ends at W elevation. 3 stacks, 2 altered in brick.
Pantiles.
