Description

Early 19th century. Rectangular plan single storey
cottage and stable range with walled court to W, garden
to E. Squared and snecked Rattlebag rubble with droved
ashlar dressings. Small-pane glazing to sash and case
windows. Slate roof. No stacks.
W ELEVATION: 5 bay. Depressed arched former carriage
opening at centre with chamfered arrises, partly blocked
for modern doorway, set in gabled bay breaking eaves
with hayloft door above. Single lights flanking.
Bipartite to outer left and wide doorway to outer right
with sliding doors.
Additional stable building recessed, adjoining S gable and
brick additions to E. Piend-roofed outbuilding at SW
corner of court.
Droved ashlar, pyramid capped gatepiers to N.
