Description

2-storey farmhouse composed of later 18th century gabled
block with substantial piend-roof addition to S, of earlier
19th century. Harled with painted margins; raised base
course at W.
EARLIER HOUSE: gables to E and W elevations with windows
and stack of W gable rebuilt with later house. Irregular
and altered openings to N. Pentice roofed outbuilding
adjoining E gable.
LATER HOUSE: pilastered doorpiece to W elevation. Large
flanking window at ground.
S ELEVATION: 3-bay. 3 1st floor windows grouped
centrally with 2 ground floor windows to outer bays,
altered to doorway at left.
12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case windows.
Coped ashlar end stacks to later house and W gable.
Slate roof.
INTERIOR: panelled window shutters and winding stone
stair.
Retaining wall to E.
