Description

William Leiper. 1871. Early French gothic. Lodge: Single
storey L-plan, rubble with freestone dressings, squat
column gabled porch in re-entrant angle, bowed N gable
with spired roof, 3-window bow projecting from main bow,
moulded openings and pendant double-arch sinkings at
lintels; small office court at back with corner turret.
Steep slated roofs with wrot-iron finial at spire of bow,
crowstepped gables. Square gatepiers with pyramid tops.
