Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house with wing
recessed at right angles to left. Harled, with painted
margins and rusticated quoins. Central door, with pilastered
doorpiece in advanced crow-stepped gabled bay, window above,
and small round-headed, blocked attic window. Single windows
in outer bays, those to ground floor in shallow projections
with bracketted cornices. Sash windows with lying-pane
glazing throughout, mostly with lugged architraves. Dentilled
cornice, straight skews and gable-head stacks with dentilled
cornices. Slate roof. Wing to left with crow-stepped gable,
single windows and round-headed attic window. Single storey
rectangular block to south east; Garden walls behind house
have ball finial on north-west wall.
