Description

Mid-later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, irregular 4-bay
house and shop. Tooled mixed rubble, tooled ashlar dressings.
Entrance to house (No 38) flanked by windows; modern shop
window and entrance (No 40) at left. 3 irregularly spaced 1st
floor windows; 2 canted dormers; 2-pane glazing. Deep
bandcourse between ground and 1st floors. Coped end stacks;
slate roof.
