Description

James Duncan, architect, Turriff, dated 1878. 2-storey and
attic, irregular 4-bay bank, dwelling and shop. Tooled ashlar
frontage with polished ashlar dressings, harled flanks.
Off-centre corniced entrance, to left bank entrance with
flanking windows and to right shop door with narrow side
lights. Corniced 1st floor windows, at E outer bay a wide
tripartite; deep bandcourse between ground and 1st floor; 2-
and 4-pane glazing. Rusticated quoins; decorative cast-iron
rainwater goods; broad coped end stacks; slate roof.
