Description

Circa 1800 with later alterations. S facing 2-storey, 3-bay
cottage. Rubble, tooled rubble dressings. Centre door; outer
1st floor windows raised in late 19th century with piended
dormerheads; diminutive centre 1st floor window; single
ground and 1st floor fenestration in E gable; 4-pane glazing.
Coped end stacks; slate roofs.
Later lean-to rear additions.
STEADING: Single storey L-plan steading at rear; harl pointed
rubble; corrugated iron roof replacing former thatch.

Tugnet Cottage may have been built as house for fishing

station foreman.
