Description

Dated 1860. 2-storey asymmetrical gabled lodge, N and W
elevations to drive and road respectively. Rubble, some
harling, tooled ashlar margins and dressings. Irregular 3-bay
frontage to drive with projecting wide gable, entrance in
re-entrant angle. Further entrance in E gable masked by
glazed porch. Regular 2-light fenestration with thick moulded
centre mullions and 4- or 8-pane glazing; blind windows in W
gable. Plaques with coat of arms and date W and N between
ground and 1st floor windows.
Coped end stacks; wooden end finials; slate roofs with
projecting joisted eaves.
