Formerly part of Gordon Castle estate, flanking one of the (disused) entrance drives. Appears on 1st ed. OS, 1870. Unusual building, the only other example of 'Swiss cottage' in Moray is associated with Ballindalloch Castle. Upgraded, Category B to A, June 1996.
