Description

Probably Thomas Telford, circa 1815, single-storey dwelling,
almost square on plan. All harled. Centre door in SE front
elevation (facing road) with later timber porch. Flanking
windows with 4-pane glazing; very shallow piended slate roof
terminating with long ridge stack.

Statement of Interest

Said to have been a former inn, which would have served

travellers on the Parliamentary road (c.1815) from

Inverfarigaig Pier to Daviot where the present A851) joins

the main Inverness-Perth road.
