Description

Mid 19th century barn, converted to dwelling 1900-10. Single storey, 3-bay cottage, random rubble. Thick walls with rounded angles; centre entrance double leaf plank door, flanking enlarged windows with 4-pane glazing. Centre renewed brick stack; piended felt roof with 2 modern roof lights at rear (replacing former thatch).

Statement of Interest

Unoccupied since 1968. Proposed restoration as museum, 1985.
