Description

Circa 1830; single storey, square plan, 3 wide bays; harled
rubble; north entrance with wide recessed porch with wooden
pediment supported by closely paired wooden piers linked by
short turned wood balustrade; narrow lights flank centre
door. Later shallow projecting gabled porch in centre, east
elevation. 2 modern box dormers; large modern window in
centre south elevation. Lying-pane glazing mostly survives.
4 symmetrical stacks; ridges form inverted M-roof, linked
centrally east-west; slated.

Interesting aviary near by. Old lodge superceded by later

house.
