Description

Mears and Carus-Wilson, 1934. 3-span reinforced concrete
bridge faced with rubble masonry; tooled ashlar dressings.
Wide shallow tooled ashlar arch flanked by smaller arch
rings, also with tooled ashlar dressings. Triangular
cutwaters rise as buttresses against spandrels; tooled
rubble cope to parapet. Approximate spans; centre arch - 60';
side arches - 25'.
