Description

Early 19th century. Single storey and dormerless attic,
symmetrical W facing pair 2-bay cottages with canopied
entrances in outer bays. Rubble, tooled ashlar dressings.
Double-leaf plank doors; 4-pane glazing, chamfered ashlar
angles with run-off stops at wallhead height; renewed brick
centre ridge stack; graded local slate jerkin-headed roof
with ashlar soffits.
Later single storey harled extension at centre rear with
piended slate roof. Also timber lean-to shed at rear No 43.
