Description

Various 19th century dates incorporating earlier core.
Rambling 2-storey and attic house with 5-bay symmetrical
E front. Whitewashed, harled, rubble, contrasting
painted tooled ashlar margins.
Projecting gabled centre bay to E front with corniced
entrance in re-entrant angle. Substantial 2-storey
drawing room wing (with present kitchen in ground floor)
at W.
4- and 12-pane glazing; coped end and wallhead stacks;
slate roofs.
STEADING: single storey U-plan steading. Whitewashed
rubble, tooled rubble dressings; slate roof.
