Description

Probably Bruce and Sutherland, architects, Banff, 1886. W
facing (to road), 2-storey, 3-bay gate lodge; white harled
with mock timber framing to 1st floor; white painted ashlar
margins. Centre round-headed doorway flanked by similarly
detailed windows; 2 1st floor windows break eaves in outer
bays in jerkin-headed gablets; varied glazing.
Rear projecting bowed stair turret under bowed piended roof.
Centre ashlar stack; piended slate roof with projecting
eaves; decorative tile brattishing and apex finials.
