Description

Thomas Brown 1840. cottage style, 2-storey asymmetrical
pinned whin rubble with droved sandstone dressings, slated
Tudor hoodmoulds at ground floor Jacobean finials to gables,
shafted chimneys. Original shafts octagonal, replacements
diagonal. Ornaments at gate piers and in garden from Stitchel.
1622 and MAB 1632 lintels in garden walls. Offices John Bell
1815 (Robt. Russel and Alex Marshall builders) incorporating
older wing.
