Description

Dated 1834. Classical square-plan steading block. Symmetrical classical south elevation: 9 bays. Squared whin-stone with ashlar long and short dressings (remainder rubble-built). Central and outer bays broader and advanced with rusticated quoins and Tudor-arched openings; carriage openings altered to windows in outer bays, pend below elliptical panel and dovecot in taller, pedimented central bay: 3 linking bays between have central doors, single altered bipartite and 3 6-pane loft windows. Eaves/lintel course, cornice and piended slate roof. Courtyard interior has variety of door and window openings, and one stone forestair. Corrugated iron roof to west block.
