Description

Mid 19th century. Walled garden enclosure; low rubble walls,
partly brick lined at south, with ashlar coping. (West wall
and south west wall demolished). 2 square ashlar gatepiers
near circular south west angle tower of castle. Plain
baluster sundial dated 1909 on stepped base capped by small
figure; lead statue of mercury on base composed of re-used
carved stones.
