Description

Dated 1827 at west wing. U-plan, cattle court block of later
date having 4 parallel roofs, piended and pantiled with
slated easing courses in centre of quadrangle. Whitewashed
rubble with droved ashlar dressings. West wing is in 2
sections, south section has blocked door and 5 oblong windows
under eaves to court, corrugated roof. North section has 5
segmentally arched cartsheds (originally 6, southernmost
blocked) with margined loft openings above, now blocked. Loft
door and forestair at north gable, gabled slated roof with
straight skews. North range has 2 margined windows and
central door (converted to window) at its western half, 3
oblong loft openings above. Loft door in west gable
approached by modern metal stair. Slated roof with rooflights
and straight skews. Modern buildings to south and west.
