Probably part of previous house. 17th century? Near-square
plan, 2-storey boulder rubble with irregular dressings at
openings, east gable has window at ground floor and checked
door at 1st approached by wooden steps. Door in west gable
concealed by shed, oblong upper window south flank, pantiled
roof with straight skews and skewputts. Interior barrel
vaulted, masonry repointed 1815 (dated).
The remainder of the steading dated 1757 and 1773 with 19th
century additions and alterations has been drastically
rebuilt.
