Description

Later 18th century. Single span, hump-back rubble bridge.
Tooled rubble arch ring; tooled ashlar keyed cope to low
parapet; long approach causeway at E.
Approximate span: 20'.

Statement of Interest

Slabs forming parapet cope keyed one into the other. Same

detailing found at Inverboyndie Bridge over the Burn of

Boyndie and at Cullen House Bridge (William Adam, dated

1744).

Tore Burn forms boundary with Gamrie parish.
