Description

Ruin. Archibald Simpson 1837 incorporating large earlier house dating from 17th century and later. Asymmetrical Jacobean, mainly 2-storey probably originally with attics. Large pinnacles at S.W. part. Diagonal shafted chimneys.

Much overgrown, large sections fallen. Picturesque.

Statement of Interest

Burnt out c. 1921. Walled garden to N.W., no special features.
