Description

Medieval ruin with 17th century belfry. Consists of W. gable
end with belfry projecting from it and N. side wall with
races containing recumbent effigy of knight.

Statement of Interest

Historical Interest Ruthven was added to Cairnie Parish in

1618. Ruthven Church fell into ruin c1685
