Erected 1842. 56ft high granite obelisk sited on a hill
overlooking Fleet Bay. Monument to the memory of Samuel
Rutherford, author and minister of Anwoth 1627-1639.
Bull-faced granite stepped base and plinth with inscribed
panel to S, supporting tall polished granite obelisk.
