Description

Early 20th century. Scottish Baronial lodge, single storey
and attic. Coursed rubble, sandstone angles and qouins.
Asymmetrical elevations, rectangular lodge with round tower
to NE angle. Lugged roll-moulded door-piece to E gable, all
windows single light, sash and case with small-pane glazing.
Wallhead. Attic windows with curved dormer heads.
Tall projecting shouldered stack massed with round tower.
Steeply pitched slated roofs, conical roof to tower,
crowstepped gables.
GATES AND GATEPIERS: 3 fine rectangular plan panelled and
corniced ashlar gatepiers with bold ball finials. 3 pairs of
high quality cast and wrought-iron gates.
