Description

Probably built last quarter 18th century, but with additions.
2-storey 3-bay original house now almost doubled in size with
roof line continued, elevation now 6 bays. Additions to E
flank originally single storey, part raised to full height
first half 19th century, further single storey L-plan wing
to E, beyond, with loft. Whitewashed rubble with ashlar
dressings and contrasting painted margins; mostly sash
windows, those to N with 12-pane glazing pattern.
Original house: N elevation with unequal bays, piended
near-centre porch; eaves/lintel band (continued over
addition). Full-height (?modern) square inner S facing bay.
End and axial stacks rebuilt in brick; piended roof, covered
with graded slates.
