Description

Probably by Wardrop and Anderson, circa 1886. Single storey
and attic Scots baronial T-plan lodge with gatepiers. Stugged
pink ashlar with polished dressings.
LODGE: mullioned and transomed windows, canted window in W
gable, conical-roofed tall entrance turret in S re-entrant
angle, tall stack alongside with projecting chimney breast:
crow-stepped gables; shafted stacks; red tile roof with
fish-scale banding.
GATEPIERS: 6 corniced square piers, 2 inner piers taller and
panelled, with raised ball finials: decorative wrought-iron
gates and railings.
