18th century. Ashlar bee boles set into random rubble garden walls of The Gardens (listed separately). Raised from ground level by corbel course, with 6 large compartments, chamfered reveals and cornice. Located on inside of N wall.
Modern housing now occupies part of the walled garden, separating the bee bole wall from The Gardens; formerly the nunnery and orchard for the Carmelite monastery to the E, later a market garden. Part of the Luffness Estates.
