Description

C 1880. Robert Turnball (?) (Thomson and Turnball).
Very plain Greek villa adjoining the railway station.
2 storeys, wing forward on right, ashlar, slate roofs.
3 windows in pairs and triplets to sides, architraves
cornices with volute brackets to ground floor including
doorway in centre. Splendid Thomsonesque gatepiers
and garden wall attached, the piers with pyramidal
tops and carved authernion detail.
