1879. Obelisk on square plinth. Red Mull granite. 2
inscriptions.

Statement of Interest

Erected by local people in memory of Duncan McNeill, 6th

of Colonsay. (1793-1874) appointed Lord President 1852,

created Baron Colonsay 1867. Situated on rocky height

looking towards Mull.
