Description

Built circa 1900. 2-storey and attic house with Arts and
Crafts detailing, now a hotel, with modern addition at lower
level to Park Road. Built of yellow ashlar with asymmetrical
elevations; single, mullioned and mullioned and transomed
windows, plate glass and small-paned lights. Octagonal
turreted bay at SE has finialled, ogival leaded roof,
entrance with sculptured doorway in projecting full-height
shallow bay to Park Road; gabled right bay to Fenwick Road
has canted ground floor window, its balcony continued left
and supported on stone brackets. Wall-head stacks with
projecting caps; broad-eaved slate roof.
