Description

Mid 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay diminutive vernacular cottage. Random rubble, with polished and droved dressings, harled at rear. Chamfered arrises.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 3-bay, comprising modern timber door at centre, flanked by windows in outer bays.

E ELEVATION: small window to right, with window in harled flat-

roofed addition to outer right.

N ELEVATION: advanced bay to right, with window centred in gable, harled brick lean-to coal shed at left, with corrugated-iron roof, and vertically-boarded timber door facing E; harled, flat-roofed later addition to re-entrant angle, with modern door at centre.

W ELEVATION: blank.

Timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slate roof. Cast-iron and plastic rainwater goods. Coped ashlar gablehead stacks, with circular cans. Coped skews.
