1760. John Adam. Small house. 1 1/2 storeyed. Random
rubble. Slated roof. Venetian windows.

Statement of Interest

A 'pavilion' built to form part of a court of offices

which was not completed. Surrounded by colliers' houses

until 1803. In 1814 it was fitted up as dwelling for

Commissioner Adam's clerk.
