Description

Probably 1st half of 19th century. Rectangular rubble
building, 2 storeys, set into bank at south west. Door
on north west elevation and in the gable at south west,
1 small window at upper floor in south east. Slate roof
with roof lights. Interior: unusual circular kiln, rubble
construction with wire mesh kiln floor and tapered
opening, now blocked, possibly shute for dried grain;
arched fire box at base, the sides lined with stone and
brick.
